Was up at my dad's place last weekend. Meant to upload this earlier... Had a goanna at my dad's front door while I was up there. Got a reasonable photo of him. Quite a decent size this one...
I tell you what, these things can move. This was the only photo I got. I chased after it, but it was way too quick for me...

Yep, can see that even this blighter's trying an "exit, stage left" in the photo.
Am actually kinda glad he ran off when we tried to get some more photos. Apparently they have a tendancy to run up you. Now, this sucker looked to be about a meter long including tail, so I'm not sure it would have been an overly pleasent experience. ;-)
